Selling the hammock seat I bought early last month. It just isn't for me. Girlfriend loves it. We bought it en route to NC last month since she was miserable on the stock seat. Maybe an inch-1.5" tops it feels like. I actually like the position it puts me in on the bike. More comfortable leg position. I feel as if it moves you back a hair too.

i had 2011 fltru with stock seat,put 35000 miles on it.thought it was great.now have cvo with hammock seat.a lot more comfort imo-my wife likes the heat.put the seats side by side the stock seat is taller,hammock is wider.i think the taller feel is from the width.i am going to have a little shaved off.at first i thought the 18 in. wheels were taller than stock,but are shorter.new front along side older 17 the 18 low profile is still lower

Not sure but I want to say no you can't. This definitely moves you back compared to stock though.

The riders only Hammock seat will sit you farther back than the rider/passenger Hammock will.
