Is there a way to replace the bushings without removing the fairing? I am having clearance issues (hitting the fairing with the wrench). If there is what is the secret? Or do you have to take the fairing off? Thanks
Use a long extension and look up thru the tunnel inside the nacell to get to the bolt. There is another thread that was on here yesterday. Look in the handlebar forum.
You don't have to but it is much easier to do this stuff if you remove the tank. It takes about 5 mins. Then just turn the bars all the way to the left and loosen the right one and vice versa. It's easier if you leave the bars in the riser and keep it snug.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
