Ordered a set of 11 road6customs naked bars. Install went great until putting on the ignition switch. Well long story short messed up the tumblers and got the switch stuck. Can't get it off in lock or unlock or whichever way it turned over. Bike would just stay in the Acc position. Pulled fuse and take it in tomorrow. Read some post on keep fiddling with it but nothing has worked. Any advice before I haul it over to Harley?

No. Damn that sucks. Some guys have fixed this issue. I don't thinK you have to take the whole bike unless you want them to seat it back in.

Future reference. That does not need to come out on the 15 and later RG. Remove the horseshoe turn to acc. And the cover lifts off.

Well damn. I'll see what I can figure out today. Wish I did more research before taking it off, eh I like learning the hard way.

I jacked up the tumblers once... I worked some magic with a med size flatlander screwdriver and got them lined up... it wasn't too hard, but seemed like it took forever.

As for getting it back out with jacked tumblers... I would just keep playing with it... try orienting everything the way it was when you first jacked it up and reverse your steps, you may get lucky

I've taken the ignition switch apart several times. It's fine to use a screwdriver to realign the tumblers. You won't hurt it.

I somehow got the switch stuck on. Can't get it off. I think I aligned the tumblers in a way where I have to go past the gauges to unlock it.

I just installed holley roller bars and had the same problem except my ignition switch didn't want to seat all the way and my forks ended up getting locked.

I gave up after a day of messing with it. Ended up getting it to a local repair shop (with a LOT of muscle) that didn't have the tool for '14 and up models. They got it in, unlocked the forks and it took a few seconds and $60 to get the tumblers aligned with the tool.

Lesson learned, I wish I knew RFG7680's trick BEFORE I started! Smh

10" bars, I didn't want my hands above the fairing because I ride in all weather conditions. Appreciate it!

Just do what bike thieves do. Put the front wheel on a skateboard. Tighten up the trucks so it's stiff. My friends are in law enforcement is how I know that trick. Nothing worse than a bike thief.

I'll definitely do that if needed but I'm hoping to avoid that. One time is enough!

Good luck getting it worked out. I hate a bitch of a time getting mine aligned on my 13. Had to walk away and try again when I was cooled off. Takes patience.
