I finally got my Road Zeppelin seat from Chicago H-D. After several missed attempts I finally figured out how to use it properly and now I like it. Did 225 miles yesterday with no discomfort at all. After about 160 miles I was squirming a bit so I put a little bit of air in the front chamber and all was bliss again.
My question is this..... I have a 2011 RG Ultra which has the plastic air deflectors (page 102 in the 2011 Turing parts catalog, H-D part # 51869-09) on the frame tubes behind the engine. I want to install a backrest and would like to use the MOCO adjustable unit. The 2011 accessories catalog shows a drawing with the button for the adjustment mounted at the top mounting area where the top of the left side plastic air deflector is now mounted (page 358). Has anybody installed this backrest with the plastic air deflectors in place? Can it be done successfully? Or would I have to relocate the button to another mounting location.
