I was wondering the same thing. My new i-phone has the new lightning plug, and my bikes controller has the old 30 pin plug. I got nervous and sold my old 3g 8 gig phone on e-bay and bought me a 64 gig i-pod touch 4th gen with the 30 pin plug. I now have enough space to put 14,000 songs on it, so I should be good to go for awhile, I hope. I haven't read any thing about if the new connectors will work with old controllers. I think you have to use the earphone plug to get audio out on the new apple stuff. But I would like to know for sure also.
I'd like to add a USB splitter to my usb connection in the glove box so I can plug in my USB thumb drive and my cell phone and be able to switch back and forth with them. Anyone tried this and been successful?
Well, the stock radio / speakers were just not enough at highway speeds. So i did some research and decided to go with the JM audio Rokker XXR Extreme because it is plug and play and does not require reflash.
Can’t wait for it to come in so I can install it.

Hi all, when I looked inside a RG fairing I was pretty skeptical about how I was going to fit amps in there. I did not want to run amps in my tourpak or bags so I was on a mission to figure out a way to squeeze it all in. Figured I would document the process in case anyone else is struggling...
