I ordered a Harley wrap around LED bar a few weeks ago. I ordered it because the Harley Website said it was "Sequential" and "Brighter" LED's. Here's a cached snapshot of the listing from just 3 days ago:

And here's a snapshot from today:

They removed the Sequential & Brighter part of the description.

Same price, same part number.

Of all the things wrong in the world, this is a nothing burger, but it still does irk me because you can buy these standard Tour-Pak light bar "pulls" on eBay for less that $100 all day, every day.

I left the 3rd "not nice" review, we'll see if they allow it this week...

Cancel your order. I had to do that about a year ago for a few simple products. One week it says shipped and two days later it says backordered. What a pain in the ass that was. Find the one you want and order it. HD's website is notorious for having bad info on it.

I’m also surprised by the parts that Harley lists that purportedly don’t fit certain bikes that actually do fit those bikes, like they were made for them.
That's because the people developing and inputting the information are not Engineers or Mechanics or Techs.

I thought about adding lights to my tour pack, but then I remembered what a hassle it was dealing with the wiring harness whenever I removed the tour pack from my RGU.

Not sure if it's any different for the newer bikes. But with my Tourpak I have the LED Rear light bar, tourpak speaker pods, AirWing LED brake light, and one extra spot to add aux charger if I want to.

I only have 1 big plug and 1 small plug to disconnect when not using my Tourpak.

Small Plug on longer lead (that's on saddlebag lid) goes to module for R,B,L plug.

After talking to Harley on the phone this morning, they said to take it back to my local dealer for a 100% refund, which I did.

The Harley parts rep on the phone said some dealers and their policies do not allow electrical items to be returned but in this case she gave me a reference number in case the dealer balked, which they did not. She agreed the listing was previously misleading.

I found a mint 23 RG Limited "pull" LED (with side LED's) from a guy who changed his LEDs to smoke. $122 for all 3.

All is well.

Would the HD#67801129 not do what you wanted it to do? Its the actual red HD tour pack light bar with sequential turn elements... the fitment is what I am not sure about, it says:

"Fits '14-later models equipped with King Tour-Pak (except models equipped with CB antenna). For models with AM/FM Antenna, a separate purchase is required of Internal Hidden Antenna P/N 76000862 (except models already equipped with Hidden Antenna and '23-later FLHXSE, FLTRXSE, '24-later FLHX, FLTRX and FLTRXSTSE). Will not work with new jumper harness."

I do not know what those last 7 words refer to, but if the other light bar you returned had the right connector on it and worked on your bike, then I think this one has the same connector on it... then its just a matter of a BCM setting, on some bikes to get it to function correctly.

I just realize the light you bought, HD #67801541, is made to work with the required harness for your '24 Road Glide, but they had the wrong advertisement posted for it (about its ability to do sequential lighting)... and the one I posted does the sequential lighting, but won't work with your bike, or the required harness.

Ok, soooooo the 67800093 is the same ole light bar thats its always been, like the one that came on my '23 RGL, only under HD #67801541 it is for a '24 RG and requires using this "special" harness 69203400 ($150), that looks to have a 'module" in line (the "box" the arrow is pointing at). Which, except for the module that harness is very similar to the $75 harness in my tour pack.
Image

So that would mean physically the HD #67801129 light (the one that actually does sequential turn signals) and is for '23 and older model bikes would also "physically" fit and plug in to that new harness... but the pin out of the connector, and what's coming out of that module on which wire and when, would have to be figured out, because #67801129 says it doesn't work with that new harness... or will an old style harness work if pinned out correctly???

I do know that the #67801129 sequential light bar has a setting in the BCM that has to be set correctly to get the light to function correctly on the '23 and older bikes. By default it is usually set right, but a few have put that light bar on their bikes and when applying the brake the light just goes bright for a millisecond... if it does that, the "fix" is to have that one setting changed in the BCM and it works as advertised. The setting has to do with "Dedicated Brake Light" or "Turn Signal Lamps", this is the setting in Diag4Bike.
Image

But I ain't buying a '24 to figure out how to make the sequential light work :p but it may be doable IF that option is still in the BCM, or if the default setting is "right", on the new BCM in the '24's... its just money

But unless I just had the sequential light bar sitting around from a previous bike, I'd just wait a minute, and they'll probably have the sequential light available, with its own special harness to make it work... or CD or someone else will come out with a module for it.

Well the 67801128 sequential light bar does not completely work with the new 69203400 harness, and the original 67801541 light bar (bait & switch) that does work with the 69203400 harness is NOT sequential. It's also not worth $373 plus another $145 for the harness. Not when you can get an older light bar pull for $100 or less.

As you know the 24 RG's use a new 12 pin connector under the seat, thus it's a new connection point not previously available (only 23 CVO). I should have in my hand the non-Harley "fix" to the problem of putting a regular (non-sequential) LED light bar on a 24 tomorrow. I'll post my findings tomorrow night. There is no fix for running the Harley sequential bar (red or smoke) on a 24, yet anyway. Like you and another have stated, the brake light only momentarily flickers.

"Will not work with new jumper harness"

When you get that light bar working, check when you hit the brake to see if the whole light bar goes "bright"(all the way across, skinny center section as well as the fatter turn signal area), or if just the skinny middle section (single row between the turn signal area). On the 14's thru 23's there is a setting in the BCM that will cause it to light only the center row bright upon braking, then the outer sections (turn signal area) are just Run/Turn... it is the same setting that causes the sequential to not work properly on the 14's thru 23's (see post #34). On those year models it's easy to "correct", although it takes diagnostic software to get to the setting. I had my '16 RGU doing it after I had been troubleshooting a different issue with some Electra Glow Keystone lights I had at the time... because I changed that setting, and it was an easy fix.... I do not know if the setting even exist in your 24's BCM (probably, I would think) or what the implications of that new connector/harness is on these lights. I'm just mentioning it in case there's unexpected behavior with the light, so that maybe it can be checked to see if it may be correctable.

Success. Everything is working perfectly on my 2024 Road Glide Tour-Pak LED project.

Tour-Pak wrap around LED Bar turn, brake and running lights - check
Tour-Pak side running lights - check
Tour-Pak turn/brake/4-way/running lights all working together - check
Saddlebag speakers pass through built into 12 pin splitter - check
Auxiliary power for a internal charging station - check

I've been waiting OVER two months for the damn Harley harness (no ship date given) so I bought three harness pieces/parts all on Amazon instead:

12 pin splitter - $78.90 - https://amzn.to/3TElzHj
6 pin extender cable - $11.90 - https://amzn.to/3VC140x
Tour-Pak wiring harness - $46.99 - https://amzn.to/4aD71hX

If you already have a Tour-Pak "internal" harness and 6 pin female to 6 pin female/male cable you only need the 12 pin splitter.

I was starting from scratch so I needed all 3.

JUST the Harley light bar 67801541 @ $373, side lights 69494-06 @ $138 and harness 69203400 @ $145 = $656

Versus:

2023 like new "pull" LED & side lights on Mercari @ $122, 3 harnesses on Amazon @ $138 = $260

And no more waiting on misidentified or backordered Harley parts.

A couple things worried me about taking the route I did after Harley changed their listing. Would the rear speakers and their connections "pass through" the 12 pin splitter? Would the brake light work without flicker? Could I save some serious money by buying a 2014 and up Tour-Pak red LED light (67800093) and red side lights (69494-06) "pulls" from somebody who probably wanted "smoke" lenses? Can I disconnect it easily without talking off the seat? Are the non-Harley wiring harnesses quality parts?

All answered yes. Hopefully my journey can save some a few $$$ and headaches. Life is good (and now visible)

Good job bud. As frustrating as it is at times, where there’s a will there’s a way, and you found it!!
