Day 1 of an 11 day vacation starts tomorrow (July 1). My gal and I will trailer (I know trailer, I’ve got to get her there fresh, my gal that is) our Road Glide to Mesquite, NV. A group of riders and I will take day trips from there. They all ride Electra Glides.

Mesquite is on the border of Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. We are staying at the Virgin River Casino and Resort. Rooms are $17.00 per night; what a deal for a resort with a casino, bowling alley, and for the wife, a Starbuck’s Coffee.

Our plan is to ride to: Zion National Park in Utah, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Las Vegas for dinner one day, Valley of Fire State Park (Nevada), and at least one more undetermined ride.

It should be cool. I will post pics when I return.

$17.00 a night? Thats cheaper than my mortgage. I should sell and live there. Someone will change my bed everyday and I can call for rooom service sounds like a deal

Great riding in that area

Don't pass up a ride a little further East from Zion. You HAE TO do the Grand Staircase - Escalante. That's probably one of the most amazing sections of road ever. The wife and I just got back from staying in St George Utah and riding about 1200 miles all around Zion, Bryce Canyon, Escalante, etc. Greta trip.

I also stayed in St. George Utah last May for some of the best riding I've ever done. The ride in from the Grand Canyon was amazing.

Sounds like a great time. Really like the $17.00 a night. Me and three others will be leaving Detroit about the second week in Aug. for a month long trip out west. Might have to stop by Mesquite.
