I know it's gotta be something simple, but the manual just isn't very clear and I've not found an answer by searching here.......

Had my Turns Powdcer coated. Now I'm trying to put them back together.
Have my Purple & Blue wire in the Terminal base.finally figured out which way the negative had to insert into the Isolator (at least I think....looks right, but can't get it to lock in like it was when I removed it.
Anyhow, pluged it in to test before re-inserting the Isolator & rubber assembly into the light houseing.
Is there a way that the Terminal base locks in? Do I need to install all to the light houseing to get Negative to work correctly??
I've looked in where the bulb goes on the ones still on the bike & all seem to be lined up correctly & I've changed bulbs....still running & no turn.......

I'm REALLY thinking it's the ground wire NOT locking into place, but I'm perplexed!!

Get running, can't get turn function.
Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

Getting ready to throw stuff thru walls !!!! LOL!!!!!

If it doesn't lock in, its not making a good contact and that's most likely where your issue is. Are you sure you putting it back in correctly? It might be upside down or even something is bent, preventing it from locking in place.

If your still confuzzled, you can buy the inner assembly prewired from Harley. All you will need to do is rewire the quick disconnect.

I'll check that out if I can't get anywhere with it..... I "THINK" I'm installing that spade for the negative the correct way (has more of a flat side and a more round side...putting the more round to the inside where he bulb would go.).
I got 1 locked it in seemed & when I put the bulb in, it blinked for a second & then I noticed the negative had backed out again......

Thanks---I'll keep working with it.... may just hold until tomorrow & see if that helps.......

So the spade itself is backing out not the wire right? If so then a tab is bent out preventing it from locking in.

Correct. Wire is fine....Just the metal tab not locking in? I'll play with it again tomorrow...I know me & for now I just need to let it be..........

Thanks!! At least now I think I'm on the right track to correct it.......

Apparently it does matter which hole in the base the Purple & Blue wires go. The one signal I could not get to work, I swapped those, bent the tab on the negative out a bit and it worked......put them both back together & re-tested & all was good.......It was just one of those "Walk away" deals......

But thanks for your input....kept me focused!!

Check your fuses to make sure none shorted out. That can happen if you connect the wrong wires.

Just a note, take clear pictures of wiring and connections before disassembling. Without them, I would never remember how they go :)
