IMHO you'd almost need to upgrade to the MLK 1650.3 to make it worth your effort. Don't get me wrong, again IMHO components almost always sound better than Coax speakers, but on a bike you're working against the law of diminishing returns sometimes. Another thing to consider (specifically when talking about the Hertz component sets) is placement of the crossovers. The Hertz crossovers are top quality, but they are pretty large.
So just got off the phone with the owner of Hogtunes. He said that my bike, 2019 RGU comes from the factory with the stereo turned down 30% in power. But that a generic VIN flash by Techno Research will bring it up to full power and pretty much make an amp unnecessary. Has anyone else ever heard...

Sold my 2009 Electra glide classic and just bought a 2019 road glide. It is a new left over. I have Kappa 62ix speakers that I took out of my EGC.
What amp will work well with these speakers? Do I need a line leveler? Do I need the dealership to do anything to the radio?
