Did you check for DTC's??
Check the 02 sensors a steady dose or semi steady dose of fuel injector cleaner isn't a good idea because it will screw up the 02 sensor readings to the ECM and cause running issues.
Also a cracked fuel lines inside the fuel tank or a warp fuel filter housing will cause running issues that will make the bike pop.
These bikes have a history of the fuel filter housing warping and HD did a recall on the 08 models because of this problem but some of the newer bikes have had warped fuel filter housings.

The 02 sensors may not show up on the dtc if they are coated with carbon or soot, you may want to pull them and clean them.
I don't use any additives in my fuel anymore because it messed up my 02 sensors. I run a T-Max tuner with closed loop 02 sensors which is needed for the auto tune and I used fuel injector cleaner once and it threw off the AFR readings to my ECM, I had to pull the sensors and clean them up for things to get back to normal.
