Anyone have the hi oil capacity pan #24400099? The description states that it cannot be used with the fairing mount oil temp gauge which I have. is there room when installed for the temp sensor if I tap the pan to accept it?

If you want the high capacity oil pan, and use an oil temp gauge, you will need to get the Baker high capacity oil pan, the HD one won't work...

The OE oil pan carries plenty of oil.

If thinking that the additional oil will result in cooler oil temps..................nope.

I'd have to respectfully disagree.

I'm running the baker +1.5, and the ultra cooler oil cooler. I've seen a drop in oil temp by 30 degrees over stock. I've compared my oils temp via gauges, as well as, to my buddy's victory, which prior to installation of these parts, has run about 30 degrees cooler than my bike... After install, after a day of riding we r at the same temp...

It's your oil cooler, not the extra oil.

Maybe... However, the oil cooler only kicks in when the oils temp is over 220, with the extra oil... It takes that much longer for the oil to reach that temp... And with just the cooler I wasn't seeing temps above 245ish, except for really hot day with serious traffic... With both I don't see temps climb above 235... Except again for those really hot days etc... And even so the bike doesn't get as hot as it did with the cooler alone...
