So, now that I have HD lowers coming I would like to know what everyone uses for highway peg mounts. I did some measuring and I don't think my lindby one-piece pegs are going to fit (and be functional). I was looking at the billet piece that comes on the CVO bikes because it can be had in black, but I saw a buddy of mine has the HD short angled mounts. Looks like Kuryakyn makes identical mounts. Any opinions or experience with any of the above?

I installed the Long Angled Peg mounts on mine with the Lowers. They put the pegs at the same line with the edge of the Lowers. When up they blend in and are not very noticeable. They put my feet at a great angle and give me a good, relaxed ride when in use. I still have not gotten a picture with the pegs installed. I will get around to it when I remember to take a picture and am not riding.

Personally as much as I need the highway pegs for comfort, I am not a fan of the look so I went with the FBI jac-knives. I thought at the time if it doesn't give me enough for comfort I can then add the bar mounted pegs. So far I've put 5K miles and they are perfect for me.

I can't comment on the hardware but I removed the passenger pegs that came with my 2010 and replaced them with floorboards. I moved the passenger pegs to the crash bar and so they match my floorboards, break pedal and shifter pegs. They don't make highway pegs that match the rest of the bike so it was a nice touch.
