Got the Big Ultra kit from Amazon and installed it over the summer. For the money, not too bad of a kit. Fairly easy plug and play install. Sound is much, much better than stock. I listen to my Ipod most of the time, and the kit makes a big difference while cruising at highway speeds. I was researching this forum for a few months before opting to purchase this kit. Was going to go higher end, but decided to save some money for future mod's. I will probably add on saddlebag lid speakers from the same company down the road. Amazon had great pricing on this kit, and Hog Tunes honored the warranty if anything goes wrong. All in all, I would say that for the money, I'm satisfied with this kit.

Had it installed 2 years now and am happy with the quality and sound. Certainly not the "thumpers" some folks have, but for the price and ease of installation it can't be beat. JMHO

I bought a 12 ultra and it had this system installed with the tweeter pods that go around speedo/tach,sound was great if you were stopped at a light, other wise it sucked, anything over 60 mph u couldn't hear shit,i took it to the dealer and had them adjust the amp and check on it,IMHO id never spend money on this garbage, bad investment!

I have used it for the past 2 years. For the money, not a bad system at all, huge improvement over stock. At speeds above 60, i was looking for more. Im upgrading now.

Never had the Hog Tunes stuff, but alot of guys have bought Hog tunes, Harley Boom, or another aftermarket set up and they are or have upgraded from those. I should have saved my money and just done what others have done. Build it once with high quality amps and speakers. Research research research.

Or meet somewhere in the middle. ... Hid lights are only 185$ that leaves 400$ for audio upgrades..

Lots of amps for just over 100$ and speakers aren't much more. ... lol

Keep reading post. There are alot better products than J&M for the same price. If you want plug and play, then there you go. Over priced system. Just my opinion.

then there are those who will buy the high dollar stuff the first time, and then upgrade from there

just start with a price/performance point that you are comfortable with

I bought my RG used with the HK head unit and JM Rocker 5x7's in it.
My buddies 2000 Screamin Eagle RG sounds better with its factory system.

I have posted this elsewhere but sound beauty is in the ear of the beholder. Have had hawg wired, boom, focals and Polk. To my ears, I love the jm Rokker XXs. So, after much swapping I am left with jm and focals running off the jm 500w amp and a hawg wired 200 w amp. Happy happy happy. This is a purely subjective choice. If you like the sound and can hear it at 80-90 mph then you are where you want to be. IMHO
