I just installed my new Power Commander and Stage 1 AC from Fuel Moto. I got the whole set up delivered for 345.00. Well just got back from a test ride, before with stock ECM and AC and rush mufflers at 4 grand she fell flat and had to short shift it. Now with the new PC and AC she pulled pretty dang hard up to around 5800 rpm and then cuts off. Just got home Grinnin from ear to ear again. This thing sure does beat my ole Fatboy with a carb hands down.

sportyguy,

How did you do so good on pricing - fuel moto quoted me a PC-V for $299.00 + 12.95 2-3 day shipping, not including the AC????

The first thing I ordered for my 09 Roadie was the Fuel Moto Satges One package. It was ~$720 complete and shipped. Every single time I ride the bike, I enjoy the performance, and sound. For me it is the perfect combination of more power, cooler running engine, and nice sound at cruise, and a better sound when I need it (at a more agressive throttle position).

I've got an 10 RG, I've put a Carriage works slip on and have purchased the Arlen Ness Big Sucker but haven't installed it yet. I've considered ordering the PC from Fuel Moto so I can finish the stage 1 upgrade. Has your fuel mileage been effected by the PC ? I also may need to get rid of the Cat before I do anything else.

I get 42-48 mpg, on 91 octane premium with no ethanol added. If I put in the 10% ethanol blend (sometimes it is unavoidable), my mileage drops by about 10%. The life of the bike so far (19k miles) mileage has averaged 43mpg. I ride probably 80% city commuting, so your mileage will vary based on how you ride.

I personally would not run the bike with slipons and an intake, without a fuel adder. I think at best, your ecm will attempt to adjust the fuel level back to the stock afr, which is already way too lean of a running condition (IMO). It is your bike, and you can do anything you want, but if your asking for advise, here'smy opinion. (Remember what you paid for it, nothing!!)

Call Jamie at FuelMoto, and order the PCV, with a two maps, one for highway operation (close to stock afr) and one for around town. Tell him exactly what you have for an intake and pipes, and then install a momentary switch (like the odometer reset switch, which with boot will cost you all of $15) and your all set to ride anyplace anytime. I have had slow response from FuelMoto by sending e-mails, so a call is the only relaible way to get a response IME.

The mileage will probably drop a bit, but that is because you'll enjoy the throttle response much more than you do now.

There are pictures in my gallery ofthe PCV installation which has worked flawlessly for me. Remember the dilectric grease on the electrical connections, since the PCV doesn't like water, and you will get it wet if you ever ride in the rain, or wash your bike.

Did you buy it for fuel mileage, or????????????

Thanks for the info.
I didn't intend to put on the new air kit until I put a fueler on it. Good idea installing the 2 maps since the PCV will handle it, i'll call Jamie.
Any suggestions on the switch, where to purchase ?

At your friendly HD dealer:

67854-98 Speedometer Reset Switch, MSRP $12.52, 20% off $10.02.
67880-94 Speedometer Reset Switch Boot, MSRP $2.00 20% off $1.60.

In the do it yourself section, I just used one of these for a garage door opener. There are pictures there of the parts and how I used them for that purpose.

I just scored the same setup over on HDF for $320 shipped for the PCV and stage one intake. I have a set of Bassani slip-ons coming as well. The closest map that Jamie had was with his jackpot 2-1-2 header and the jackpot slipons. Will it make much of a difference since I am using the stock header with the cat and different slip ons? ? He only sent me the one MAP though...
