Yes it's a FLTRI
Just put 5.044 gallons in a 5 gallon tank

3 times in a Lil over 99k on her 03 I've put over 5 gallon in her, (not talking bout the o'lady)

This morning like to other 2x's, it'll fuel starve, cut out, then while rolling hit the button and go....almost exactly three miles, BUT
Has always made it to a pump, like this morning when I was avoiding death as she cut off on I-5

What's your story, do you Reserve your strength to push Bike?

will post pics when near some high speed data

On my 16 RGS when my count down to out of fuel gets to 7 to 8 miles left, I still have 1 gallon or more left in the 6 gallon tank. I would have thought that it would have been closer to maybe under a half of a gallon left,

"Depending on how I have been riding". If I am easy with the right hand I can get 340 to 350km or about 225 miles out of a tank on my 06.

I never let the fuel tank drop that low if I can help it, I have a 6 gal tank and I put over 5 gallon in the tank a few times.
It isn't good to suck fuel off the bottom of the tank because that's where most of the contaminates in the fuel will settle to. Also it is hard on the fuel pump JMO
Remember, the only time you have too much gas in your bike is when it's on fire. :surprise:

That would be a low fuel light my fellow Glider

We all know fuel injected Roadglides have no reserve

There's not one on the 05 king which been changed to carbureted

Which brings to point, wasn't always down right fun to switch
to reserve and hear your bike pop and struggle as you goose it

By the way there were electric pumps on some of those bikes too

Normally I don't either Ironmark, but everyone needs to know when you are going to run out of gas. On some of the trips I do, the difference in 10 miles left in the amount of gas in the tank, is the difference in stopping for gas with 3/4 of a tank or running out of gas in the middle of nowhere. I would suggest everyone that rides long distance like I do, grab a gallon can of gas and put it in your bag when you get down to 1/4 tank left and go for a ride and run you bike out of gas. I always set my A odometer each time I fill up with gas. I know by mileage how much gas I have left, not the fuel gauge. It's a good idea if you are going to do rides such as to Alaska like I did in 2011 and even on trips across Hwy 50, the Loneliest Road in America..

Low fuel light on my 2016 comes on around 47 miles left. About the same as my 2013 and 11 did. I have run it all the way down to where it said LO and then would show 14 miles .

not on purpose but i know for a fact it will go further than the miles to empty reading. i now carry a gas can in the saddle bag just in case I'm in the middle of nowhere again. I don't remember how much gas i actually added when i finally got to a station.

It may be fugitive. The rewards enforced positively or negative.
Over 40 some years of putting fuel in and running fuel out of bikes.

That MOTTO (master of the obvious) would be a given, just like (put your own twist on it) like - two solid object can't take up the SAME space.

Out breaking wind I know what I got when the light comes on Or by the trip meter

Must be that Idle time that gets me fuelish around town

Maybe they should put a Hour Run clock on bike
Cause Sloggisin a bagger just ant right

I just returned from a 3500 mile trip to TX. Almost ran out of gas 3 different times 1) because I didn't want to stop (Heaven), 2) because going 1 more exit in TX is farther than most states.

After 0 miles left, I clocked 20 miles and experienced sputtering as I exited to petro station. Some have said there is 1 gallon left after zero. I don't think so.

I left South Bend, IN with 10 inches of snow on the ground (See attachment). Other than that the solo trip was incredible and therapeutic. NO Better scooter exists than RGU CVO.
