Okay, finally got the bike, what a nice ride compared to my VMAX. Noticed I was kicking/hitting the saddlebag as I throw my leg over. Picked up the bra kit, any tricks to installing the kit for a smooth install. Looks like you could have a pretty wrinkled look if not done right. Any advice would be appreciated.

It may loked wrinkled when you first install (mine did not ) but give it a hot day then re secure

Alternatively, you can leave them sit out in the hot sun (or some of us lazy people have been know to use the wife's closthes dryer for a few minutes) to warm them up a bit. Make installing them a whole lot easier. You will need to re-tighten them a few times.

Needless to say, make certain you've got a real good coating of wax or paint protectant on the lids first. I always take my vehicle bras off and clean underneath the covers every few hundred miles, especially if you ride in the rain. Nothing worse than finding some road grit has gotten under there and acted like sandpaper on your paint while you thought they were protected.

That was very funny KTM, after doing more research here took the bra's back and decided to order the clear film kits to install. Here in the desert southwest to much sand blowing all the time so worried about grit getting under the bra's and ruining the paint. Thanks to all for the advice.

Ok the secret to tight bra installation is........... Follow the insteuctions as far putting the velcro on and letting it cure for "24"hours before you even try to put the bras on. If the velcro on the bag side does not set hard you will never got the bra tight. Clean the area for the velcro with the swab included. let it dry. activeate the glue on the velcro strip. apply the strips and walk away. come back tomorrow. That it. The hardest part is leaving it alone for a day. Once the strips are set you'll have a hell of a time trying to remove them. Than just take your time and put the bras on.
