Any way to turn off the ipod from the handle bar or radio control buttons? If I simply turn off the bike the ipod continues to play.

Certainly there is a way to do this as opening the right saddlebag to turn off/turn on the ipod every time I stop/start the bike is a bit of a hassle.

Your help/suggestions is appreciated.

Don't have a SERG, but I'll take a stab at it. Try holding down the Play/Pause button until it shuts off? That's how you turn off an iPod manually, thought maybe it might work on the bike as well?

Someone on another forum posted an answer. Turn the radio off before turning off the bike. Then after restarting the bike, turn on the radio and the ipod picks up where it left off.

That way you don't have to open the saddlebag to turn off the ipod manually.

I've got a 2011 CVO RG Ultra but can't help you with your question. Ten minutes after getting the new bike home my fiance layed claim to the new iPod. No problem though. She's a good girl and deserves it. I'm very happy with my CD's and the integrated XM radio.
