MSRP: $23,499.00
3% VA Tax 674.97
Freight 380.00
Set Up 500.00+???

Total $24,053.97

$23,500 OTD...I cannot complain....especially when you have no payment!

I have been trying to sell my Fat Boy since April after I bought the SERK....I think I had one inquiry.

Oh...and the improvemnet with the frame and all make the 11 far superior to my 06.

I am afraid to go see a RGU in person............

UPDATE (Sat. Sept. 5th): Went to the local HD dealership. They have two RGU''s in stock (both Merlot color). I sat on one .... Me likey!!

With a smile on his face, the sales manager says when do we do a deal. I said it has to be black ...... "We have the power to arrange that!" I asked if there has been any interest in the RGU since its release. He said due to positive writeups in motorcycle magazines he has been getting more Road Glide Ultra 'tire kickers' than 'batwing tire kickers'.

The HD "Test our Metal" rumbles into town next weekend. Will be taking out the new RGU for a test spin.

I gotta chime in on the RGU being the best HD or bike ever. I'm sort of a strong HD fan and have had several over the past 50 years. When I started going to touring bikes, I have had 3 batwings over the past 7 years but was not getting the feel I wanted so hate to say it I went to a frame mounted fairing new Goldwing. The Wings are impressive bikes but still lacking that solid HD feel. Then along comes the 2011 RGU, I have rode it 3 times, the wife has been on it 3 times and we are sold. I think we found the nearly perfect bike. The RGU for me and any 2 up riding and the wife still has her Street Glide for the times she wants to be on her own.

Anyone want a 3 month old Wing so I can get the deal done on a 2011 RGU?

Hey Stone, I don't know if I had said welcome to the forum, so welcome to the forum.
I doubt you find too much interest in a Wing here, but good luck on getting the metric out of the garage to make room for a shark.
The new RGU's are definitly nice rides.

I have been lucky enough to demo a 2011 3 times under various road and weather conditions and must say it is the ideal fit for me. The wife likes bikes a lot but went for the first ride with me saying "your not trading again" but after the demo it was basicly merlot was a good color, she was hooked as well. I don't expect the Wing to sell here but hopefully it will be gone by spring so I can start the year with the RGU.
