Have you tried a mr. clean magic eraser? Worth a shot..

While you at it pick up a can of pig spit, spray your entire engine down, then just wipe the shiny stuff off, the black on your engine will look new.

Brake cleaner works great... use engine dressing when done

An old toothbrush will work wonders

I have a love/hate relationship with anti-seize. When someone opens a bottle of that within a mile or two of me, I might as well dump it on the floor and roll around in it. Because I will find it and smear it just about everywhere.

A degreaser works well in removing it.

I would just like to add that you should be very careful and not apply too much anti-seize to the plugs. If you get it on the tip it can cause issues because there are metal flakes in it and is a conductive material. I switched to the copper anti-seize for the plugs. A very small dab goes a long way.

+1 on the copper anti seize. Anti seize in general is some nasty stuff. Just a small dab of it on your hands and you'll find that shit on your pillow at night. It spreads like wildfire

Thanks for the help. I'll try all of the suggestions above until I find something that works.
