LOL!!!! I am a snuff user and had was wondering what this was about as well. My brother has done this (dipping) on his wheels and looks great on his bike. I as others, are wondering of the longevity.
I've had it on my truck wheels for over 2 years. Here in Ohio we get all the good stuff in the winter too. Holding up strong

My son's got a BMW 1150RT-P former police bike - black and white. He wants to plasti-dip the white parts red.

I tried it on my truck chrome mirror caps and chrome F350 emblems. Did them in March and holding up great. It was cold then (~ mid 50s) and I think the coats would have dried better if it were much warmer. The clear coat really changes the finish and adds depth.

Enjoy

I did my whole Dyna Switchback in 2 days. Was sick of the black so decided I wanted to try a different look so tore it all down, sprayed it and put it back together. Rode it for about 4 or 5 months and never had one chip. Would I do this to my RGS, HELL no! But the Dyna I think I changed color schemes like 4x.

Here it is in flat white (which I know isn't for everybody) but it did turn a lot of heads.

White out the handlebars, highway bar and forks and you have a solid freakin' winner there. Flat white will be my next paint job.
All the chrome was powder coated black that winter and the white was peeled off to show the black tins. I think with the bars and highway bar that would be WAY to much white, need something to break it up. If I did the chrome black while it was white I think it woulda looked really good.
