I've got a 2015 RG Special. What would cause my idle speed to race at a red light? Began yesterday afternoon. Temp was 95.

No idea, but some sort of vacuum leak or throttle body failure would be the main suspects. Could also be an issue with the ecm needing to be recycled.

See what codes it has and go from there.

Is there any chance the Engine Idle Temperature Management System (EITMS) is kicking in and you're misinterpreting that as an increase in idle speed? 95 degrees, stopped at a light; that is the time it would turn on.

I imagine it's that EITMS again. I had it disabled right after I bought it new. Somehow I've activated it again.
Thanks for the help.

It's easy to turn on or off. Just turn the throttle in the opposite direction of acceleration for like two seconds.

Not sure why you would want to turn it off, but you do have the option.

Interesting forum area to post your question in.
I'm assuming as a new member he thought "forum help desk" meant if you needed any kind of help.
