Per WPXI 11 in Pittsburgh: “Under the green phase, restaurants and bars, hair salons, barbershops, gyms, spas, wellness facilities, casinos, theaters and shopping malls are all allowed to open, but must limit occupancy to 50%. CDC guidelines must continue to be followed.”

So we’re not out of the woods yet...

Damn! This would have been my first Shark Week, planning a killer ride from north Florida. Well, we've been talking and still plan to go... somewhere... that week. Considering the Keys. I'll reserve political commentary...

I just heard that the Governor of PA signed a bill allowing bars to sell cocktails as carry out.

Not sure how it works. With the the liquor stores, you call it in and pay for it over the phone, then pick it up at the curb. Mixed drinks would almost have to be drive through, so you could order it and have it before the ice melted.

Ohio has had that for about a month now. Drinks are pre mixed then put in a sealed container and taped closed. Add your ice once you get to where you are going.

We've had this in the communist state of NY for 8 weeks now. I have booze at home. Why would I pay to take it to go? The reason you get a drink and pay 3 times what it costs at home is for the atmosphere as well. These politicians are lunatics and morons.

They are trying to make like they are easing restrictions with stupid things like drinks to go. Hypothetically, I own a restaurant that used to employ 25 people. Now I sell 15 pina coladas a day through my front door. Yeah, that will make it easier for me to hire back all the people I laid off. It's a scheme to try to slow the rebellion they know will happen if they don't reopen soon.

Yeah man. Hang in there the best you can. I'm sorry these puke politicians and media who are drawing full pay while telling us we are being selfish are getting away with this fraud. What needs to be done is everyone just open up all at once. They can't do shit. First it was slow the curve and fortify hospitals. OK we did. Then it was we have to keep going. Here in nys Cuomo came up with some bs 7 steps to qualify to open. We are at numbers now that were same as before the covid. But nope, still not time according to that pos. The LA mayor is saying stay closed until a cure. A cure? There has never been a covid cure and never will be. The virus peaked and is burning out. Just like every other one before it. Isolate the older and sick best we can, but we can't destroy the millions of businesses and jobs like they are doing. I don't want to see anyone die, but a 99.8% survival rate does not justify this at all.

That's it exactly.^^^ I'm not good at math so correct me if my calculations are wrong: roughly 100K Covid deaths in US. There are 330 million Americans. That's .0003% death rate. In PA, ⅔s of the deaths are in nursing homes. The old, the sick, and the compromised need isolation; not me. I'm one of the lucky ones who stayed employed during this and I'm pissed. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I was on a food line for the first time in my life.
