All,

Been thinking of installing speakers in the inner fairing of my 13 rgc. The inner side by the fork swings, the flat sides. Is there a good speaker size that fits there? Any possible pics or templates to do this? Not like you can cut and say oops, and move the hole. And a new inner ain't cheap.

Any help?

I had both fosgate 6.5'' shallow mount, and Infinity Kappas in my inner fairing, they both fit without cutting the glove box out. You will most likely need to pull your your fairing out a little on each side by moving the turn signal/fairing mounts out on the engine guard, that will give you the clearance you need to clear the fork, and speaker grills when turning.

I just installed 4 Hertz SV165's in my 2010 RGC. I did have to cut into my glove boxes but the sound is amazing!

Got the speakers installed. Yaffe directions helped. Only could use his template as a guideline since I used the Kicker CS674.

Used a shallow 5 1/2 hole saw, speakers fit perfect in the holes. Tire Automotive tire Auto part Footwear Vehicle

I used Hertz ST25 horns. They fit perfectly in the gauge holes.

Here is an album of pics from my 04 stereo install.
Polk Audio 6X9's. 6.5's and 1" tweeters.
Did it with the inner still on the bike, was a bit interesting, but got it done.

Finally got time to look at how you did the install. Looks good.

1) Whatever did you do with the glove boxes? Did you mold something to cover up the magnet?

2) Did you put the 6 x 9 their for the simple reason for the depth clearence, so it did not hit the outer fairing?
