You have to get into the wiring around the handlebar clamp..... you'll find several places where they have zip tied shit together and your hydraulic line is going through it or in the way. Clip those ties off carefully and you'll gain yourself the needed length to keep the stock line.

Just installed 12 inch apes. What a bitch. Now I know why the dealer gets so much
Anyhow. I’m not seeing how anyone is keeping the stock clutch cable. Seems very tight and awkward. I just ordered +6 cable

The OP has a twin cam bike. Might be different.

A cable is a cable.... I think most guys around here say 12" is good on pre-rushmore and up to 14" bars on Rushmore style bikes. Have you tried calling KST? They seem to signify on some of their bars that they are good with no cable changes, while your particular model does not have such statements noted on the website.

Most forums say no cable replacement necessary. I disagree on 2013 model Especially if u like your bars aligned with the fork tubes or closer to your chest. By pushing them forward u have a little more room.

Looks good! Im about to put some bars on my 2012, I wish it was just plug and play like the newer models! Not looking forward to pulling all the pins out of the connectors. Still can't wait to get them done!

Take a picture of where the pins go back in. I used a paperclip to get mine out. Patience is important. Walk away when you get frustrated and try again later.

Gotta tell you those look like 14s to me, I just did 14 inch Reaper bars on my 2011 FLTRX and I got a +4 clutch cable and brake hose more than enough, but yes quite a bit of work on the 2013 and older bikes, but if you re- route the cable you might get away with it but yes it's tight.
