I’m gonna put 16 inch apes on, and I’m wondering how long the brake line and hydraulic clutch line needs to be. I’ve looked for a kit but have not been successful. Any help is appreciated

When I changed the stock bars on my 12 Custom to 14" Apes I went with Magnum Shielding Cables.
I have had them on My Glide for over 6 years and they're holding up very well.
If You decide to go this route You can check their website and I'm sure You will find the exact fit for Your 16" Apes.

Hope this helps.

Agree with @Mike U, Magnum makes some very nice 1 and done kits based on bar sizes but keep in mind that all bars of the same heights do not necessarily need the same size cables. I put 14" F47 Rivera's on my Ultra and used the stock lines. People say they fit no problem and they do. Are they tight? Yes they are and I'm glad that I check my bike over from time to time as the clutch line was pretty close to rubbing through on the exhaust bracket. That could have made for a shitty day! So I opted not to do the Magnum kit in favor of getting the Harley ones right away from a local dealer who cut me a small break on the lines. I dig the looks of them too. The cost is right in line between the Magnums and the Harley ones. So far I only put on the clutch line but I had to go with +2" to accommodate the 14"s correctly. I am going to take a guess and suggest that 16's will require at least a +4" line. One thing to take into consideration as well is that most manufacturers measure cable length differently so be careful with that one. My guess is based on my experience with Harley lines. Good luck!

Another vote for Magnum cables. I used the +4 when I did my bars. Maybe could have gotten away with +2, but didn't want to take that chance. I used 16" Factory47-Pico bars.
