Newb with a question here. I have a 2015 RGS and am going to order the Lowers from Mutazu. I would really like to get the speaker option on them but I am not exactly the handiest guy on the block. Can anyone advise how involved it is to install the speakers? I have a friend that is pretty handy and he'd be glad to help but if it get complicated Im afraid of doing something messed up and voiding my warranty....tia.

Not hard at all. You may have to have your HU flashed to turn on the rear speakers.

youtube, I use that sh*t for everything.

Not really all that difficult to install the aftermarket lowers. Your friend will be able to help with the speaker wiring. Take your time and leave the beer until you are finished. Then sit back and enjoy the sounds.

If you have any questions on the hardware end , just post here. I just installed the lowers last month. All the pieces seem confusing until you start putting them together. Just remember, the vents will click open and closed when put together properly.
PS. Plan on buying other speakers , the ones that come with the lowers are 8 ohm. You won't get much efficiency out of them with a 2 ohm system.

Thanks for the replies....is there wiring in the fairing for the extra speakers or do I splice?
I don't know on your 2015. On the pre Rushmore bikes ,there were. We just had to flash the HU 's on non Ultra bikes to turn on the fader.
