State Farm paid the full amount but I have been told by the shop ordering parts from Harley takes a long time. Bike still in the shop.....78 days and counting :(

Yeah, it takes so long as you have to wait for your particular part to be painted in the right color from the factory. Took me almost 6 months to get a front fender for my 2005 FLHTI. Much quicker turnaround to go to a body shop that has access to Harley paint codes and let them repair parts vice waiting for a brand new one.

Bummer,,, yet another reason to have more than one.

Going away from the dealer is the fastest way to get'er done but if you have a note on it most insurance companies won't allow it.
