Did this work good for you?

Can you post a pic of the GPS installed? What are your thoughts of mounting the GPS using this mount in this location?

I was thinking of mounting my Garmin Zumo 665 using this mount, but was concerned that the placement would interfere with the operation of the radio.

Any input would be appreciated!

Here it is mounted
I think it's the best mounting solution for the road glides. It's not hard to install and it keeps the bike clean and uncluttered... it was the best upgrade I purchased for the road glide

I am considering using this mount with a Harley Roadtech (Garmin) GPS and I'm concerned about if it partially blocks the view of the speedo and tach, or interferes with the view and operation of the radio?

I use the iron aces mount, with a pro 1 swivel from amazon. the swivel allows you to tilt the gps towards you, or away from the sun a little. as far as interfering with the radio, no, it doesn't. but, when using the gps, I use a 32gb sd card and have over 20gb of music on it. use the garmin 660 for music player. the volume through the garmin is higher than that of the ipod so can hear those songs that are recorded lower better.

I mounted the zumo mount on the ia mount, and ran the wiring through the wiring channel under the fuel tank. removing the fuel tank takes about 10 minutes. eventually, i'm going to send my radio in to iron cross and get the rear aux mod so will not have to have a small cable plugged into the front of the radio.

The pictures and mounting info help a lot! I didn't want to do a handle bar mount and until now I wasn't sure how well this would work or if it'd just be in the way. I'm going to give it a shot. Thank you!
