Don't hesitate if debating using the J&M Rokker but make sure to replace the existing radio. I have a 2013 RGC and added the lower fairing with the Rokker speakers. Eastern Performance added the Rokker and amp in 2014 and I was fairly pleased but wanted to connect my iPhone via Bluetooth. My original setup included the USB add-on but ran into issues with the connection. Today there are more waterproof radio options and Harley ready radios than in 2014. After reading reviews decided to go the DIY route given promotion of easy replacement with the Aquatic AV AQ-MP-5BT-H. At $299 it's a no brainier. John Lazzeroni From J&M had posted good remarks on the Aquatic radios. I emailed John to ensure I didn't need the upgraded radio and ensure it was a simple replacement. John also confirmed I didn't need to flash the radio. I was nervous to remove the fairing myself but watched the YouTube videos and decided to dive in. One surprise was an extra little box on the radio plugged into the 2nd port on the Harley radio. I'm not sure if that was satellite box, in fairing attennna or some part of the USB adapter from previous setup. The Rokker amp was mounted on the front side so it wasn't the amp. Once I plugged the new Aquatic radio then all 4 speakers worked so I knew I could remove the extra black box. I only had to plug in the one main multi-wire connector and the antenna. There were other in/out and remote wire but doesn't appear I needed them. My challenge was getting the Aquatic radio to fit back into the hole in the dash. I found another entry for similar challenge and they trimmed the rubber edging on the corners. I was concerned on losing waterproofing but ended up having to do the same. Did a little at a time until I could get it in.
End result is fantastic. It's still so tight I can't imagine I'll have an issue.
Wished I'd done this a long time ago. My iPhone mounted on handlebar so I can view Waze app so the Bluetooth option is great. Sound is Soooooo much better than the HK radio. I had plenty of sound even with the older radio but it's so much clearer at higher volumes using the new Aquatic radio. Wanted to share the good news and thanks to John for his correspondence. J&M support is an added bonus to a great product line. I'm thrilled with the result.

I did run into problems as wll fitting the Aquatic AV. I know for a fact that on the FLH-fairing it should be mounted with the front of the HU through the dash from the outer fairing side. I tried that on my '01 SERG to the point that I heard the inner fairing starting to warp. So trying to "Hercules" it was not the way to go nor was I ready to "Dremel" it. As you know the mounting of the stereo in the FLH and FLTR fairing is similar but the whereas the FLH is level the FLTR is mounted at an angle. So back to the drawing board.
I put on some grease on the rubber seal and pulled the rear side through the dash making sure not to pinch any wires in the process. Did it work? You betcha! :D
