Does anyone have experience with the JL XD amps? I'm told they run cool. Can anyone confirm? Looking at a XD 600/6 installed in a bag. Do you guys with amps in bags run into heat issues? Thanks.

Never had one personally, but know guy's like the one above that have and do, never heard any complaints.

Thanks for the replies. Q, what size amps were you running? Did you upgrade the battery cables to 4 awg? You said you were running two of these, why aren't you anymore? Thanks

I had installed the 4/400 and a pair of 6/600 on a couple bikes. All were in the bags and did not have any problem with except that the black coating can be easily scratch.
