Installed my JRi A-12" shocks. Install was easy/peasy. Mine are emulsified without the sweep valve. (I would not know what to do with it if I had it). Howard set them up for me prior to shipment and I did not change anything. I did not measure anything as Howard was traveling while I was installing.

My first ride was 30 miles on the freeway at 75-80 mph. Can you feel the bumps/undulations? Yes, but it seems to level them out. I did not have to lean forward off of my back rest like I used to do with my stock Harley air shocks.

The 12" JRi's have a longer stoke than stock so I was able to keep the low look of my RGC which I wanted.

Are they worth the money? So far I would say yes. Howard offers a good deal to forum members. List was $812. I paid $640 shipped.

I will report on handling in the twisties and 2 up once I try that.

Call Howard at Motorcycle Metal if you are thinking of suspension upgrade.

the main thing is setting your sag , it needs to be 1/3 of the total stroke
