Hey just installed my Yaffee 10" bars. Didn't really have any issues until I buttoned everything up..1st issue my throttle grip has about 3/16" end to end slop. Can not get the switch housing to move inboard enough to take anymore slop out. I see where the bars were turned down the ft. brake housing is as far out as it will go and the switch housing night next to it..so there is no room to capture the grip further inboard taking out the slop. The grips are Harley heated grips about 2 months old.
My 2nd issues is my heated grips were fine before the install of the bars. Now I have the Willie g grips which get's their power from the acc wiring under the seat. I checked all the fuses and all were good. The only wire pulled thru the bars is the wire that feeds the right grip. The switch wire/hot wire and ground are outside the bars. How can I check and see if I am getting power to the left grip or is it the grip?
Any help with either problem would be greatly appreciated..
