Hi My name is Natalie, im 31 and just traded in my 09 Nightster for a Scarlet Red 2010 Road Glide Custom. This thing is the bees knees! I cant believe I rode the nightster all summer.

I bought the nightster as a commuter bike around college and put just under
5k on it since april.

The Road Glide is awesome, I cant say enough about it, I guess the only complaint that I have is that the color selection was kinda limited, would have liked to have had a silver one, but im not picky. The red looks awesome outside and gets alot of looks!

I love this bike, thats all I can say!

Ok RGChick,
Now you got me feeling better about my silver RG. I'm always jealous of the Red ones myself. I think your gonna like this ride and will start streaching out your distances on it also. Welcome to the RG gang.

That's funny you say that. Back in 2001 I started asking various Harley shop owners what there favorite bike was and the answer was always the RoadGlide. I hadn't warmed up to the looks yet so I put my thoughts on hold. During the next couple years I started asking RG owners how they liked their bike and I had never heard such enthusiastic and positive remarks from a bike owner. This got me going again. At the end of 2004 I bought my first RG, and now have a 2010 and love the bike like no other. (and I've had a few)Now I love the looks and also think it's Harley's best keep secret. Natalie welcome to the forum.

This is the first big bike I have owned, but I couldnt agree more! This thing is awesome! I rented a streetglde for a week and liked it alot but once I test rode the RG it was over! It did take a while for the looks of it to grow on me, but I know I made the right decision, just wish I woulda bought it earlier in the riding season, but glad I waited since it wasnt out when I bought my nightster back in march.

As far as it bein the best kept secret, thats fine with me. Part of buyin it was that I didnt want to have something that everyone else had, I wanted something different. The last couple times I have been out riding I have had theonly road glide parked at the local hangouts and its gotten nothing but compliments! Im not sure if its the novelty of a different bike, or being the only chick out riding a big bike...
