I'm off tomorrow and it's suppose to be in the 70's here in Colorado. I've been wanting to ride out to Kansas just for lunch and then back. Any of you from Kansas recommend a good place to eat that's not too far into Kansas? I was thinking maybe Goodland or Colby.

Colby has a Montana mikes, village inn, and a Mexican restaurant on the west side of the highway after you get off interstate. Village inn is on the south side of the interstate the other two are on the north. The food is okay so if someone knows of a place in goodland they highly recommend go there. My sister lives there so that's where we have ate at that is easy for you to find. The rest is fast food. About 20 miles from Colby east down interstate is Oakley at the first exit they have the colonial steakhouse. It was good when I use to live in the area, but don't know how it is now. The 2nd exit at Oakley is a big truck stop called mittens, but Montana mikes is better than that imo.
