I hope that I posted this in the right area of the forum. Moderators please feel free to move it if needed.

What has been your experience with Kendon Trailers? I am looking at a used 2010 single rail and I have little to no experience with Kendon Trailers.

I like the light weight and the fold up features, as I would like to also pull it behind my car and the light weight would allow that.

I do not have any in my rural area so I would sure appreciate your help on the Kendon line of trailers.

I borrowed a friends double Kendon last year. It pulled nicely behind the Tahoe. Easy to strap the bike in and it was held very secure for the entire trip from MO to VA.

Also loved the feature of it folding and putting it out of the way until I could return it to my friends.

I bought a Kendon single rail new in 2001. Love it! Twice a year I trailer the bike on vacation to the in-laws about 650 miles away. It's also hauled many bags of mulch over the years and has only had 1 issue that wasn't caused from loaning it to a moron. This has pulled easily and without issue behind 2 different minivans, an Infiniti FX, a Pathfinder, and other people's Ford Ranger and Explorers.

The issue? I noticed that a non-structural weld broke last year and had a local welder to my inlaws weld it back and add some strength to the welded area and on the other side. At this point, it was over 13 years old. Only other issue was loaning it to an idiot, about 4 years back, to trailer his bike to Daytona. He borrowed another friend's pickup. Yep, he fried the wiring and lights. I used this as an opportunity to upgrade to the LEDs and get new tires. So, after almost 15 years of owning it, the only thing keeping me from buying another Kendon is that my old one still works and looks good. My only regret is not buying a double rail Kendon to begin with.

A couple of buddies i ride with have those trailers. They have used the trailers to haul a lot of broke down bikes home. I don't own one, but the ones I seen in use worked very well. The guys that own them seem to like them a lot.

I have a Kendon double that I've had for almost 7 years, my only issue would be that when pulling it folded and unloaded, you tend to forget about it, lol. I need to add a flag or something. I love it.

I pulled the trigger on a 2009 Kendon single rail trailer today. I was looking for a double rail trailer, but the condition and price on the single rail was too good to pass up.

Thanks for the replies to my post.
