is possible to mount a kick start on my 1340 rg keeping injection fueling?
i must change ecu?
with my previous bike i've had many problems with carbs and i don't want to put carbs on it.
keepin injection system can be problem? does it function ? i've heard about only 10 sec when turning the button on start for kick it. but is not a problem.

another: spending 180$ what are the best type/firm of kick?

You also need a transmission case for the kickstart conversion .

Delkron makes one that is around US$500 ..

There is a conversion kit. Exhaust system may need modified. If you change ignition system most have a kick position switch. Heard evo stock system has to spin over one revolution before it sparks.

with this big a motor, seems like it would be awfully hard to kick start. Anyone have any actual experience?

My 74" Panhead and 93" shovelheads kicked over fine ..

His is a 1998 model so it's still an 80" ..

Sportsters were the ones to be skeered of ..

I guess the only question i have is,why.Plus you may run into issues with hitting the bag with your foot.
