I've been trying to decide which tour pack rack to get for my bike since SW4. Anyone who has a tour pack knows you don't want to tie anything to it without a rack, unless you don't care about the paint. I've looked at the HD racks, but the only one that caught my interest was the stealth rack, and it's really small, but nice and flat. While in Daytona with another forum member (HogWild), I noticed his rack was flat, good looking, and functional. It was the Metalsport MBR 500. Well last week I finally ordered one, and like the rest of us on this forum, when the man in the brown truck showed up, I was happy. I opened the package and to my disappointment, I was missing some hardware :( . I immediately called and explained my dilemma to customer service. Two days later......Fed Ex shows up with a package with a complete set of hardware. Now I'm happy :D . I know a lot of people complain when they receive bad service, but don't say much when good things happen, so I just wanted to give a shout out to Metalsport for a great product and customer service.

I had a boss a looong time ago when I was in the restaraunt business, "don't think of a mistake with the food as a bad thing, think of it as an opportunity to wow them with customer service."

this is a great rack , I had one in chrome with my last paint job , I gave it to forum member DED HD in October when I found out he was recently married and bought it in black for my new paint job , I only use my tour pak a few times a year when we take vacation , but when we do I need it and use it and it works well and looks great

I'm using the Harley collapsible trunk bag $99 retail , it fits great , this bag has Velcro straps , I put the bag on with them , then put the waterproof cover over it and then put 2 bungee cords over everything for double safety , I've made multiple state trips with no issues

purchased this rack in black and the rack looks awesome for having a rack. also purchased the $99.95 expandable bag wich works great with this rack (thanks for the info tj316), and i only used the velcro to attach this bag and its not going anywhere. just used it for 1700 miles. being that the rack is black, so i bought some drawer rubber liner and cut to fit between bag and rack so as not to scratch rack. this rack is worth the money, it looks ten times better than the hd ones
