I am only a 1 1/2 hours away from Vegas I might cruise down to look at the bikes on Saturday. I didn't know you need to buy a pass.

I came up yesterday. I will leave Friday morning because I will be going back to work that afternoon.

I saw only one bike on the way up. And they were going to "Trailer Week". Today I have seen a few coming into town. But not many. I bet it will be a light turn out.

I read in another thread that they are charging a fee to get in, I understand the light traffic, I wouldn't go.

Overall its pretty weak. Vegas could do so much better with this event. They do charge to see the venders down at cashman. And there is no main street where bikes can park and ride down.

If I didn't live here I would not be going. But with that said, I did take sat off from work. A few of us will be taking a ride sat around 11am threw valley of fire and then down to Cashman to see the action. If anyone is interested in meeting up for this ride or later hit me up.

It is perfect riding weather in Vegas right now.

Yeah, pretty weak sums it up. A few great bikes, a ton of clothes vendors and
limited parts. You can pay for the party pass which is $30 and it gets you into the Cashman center everyday, a free T-shirt, and 2 concerts; Joe Nichols and the Blue Oyster Cult/Fog Hat concert.

I agree. It was the first time I went. Stayed at the Nugget and I have to say, was not impressed. Did get to see BOC and Foghat. That was a bonus. I will say though, I envy you guys that have that kind of weather through the winter.

Foghat was great... I was surprised how good they sounded.

I believe that the LV BikeFest has gone down his over the last few years.
It was about the bikes. The ride and how much fun could be found.
Now, it is about how much Money can be gotten from the riders.

I went and stayed at the Fremont Casino with a couple buddies. We attended a couple years ago and we all agreed attendance was down 40-50% or so.

We rode up from Oceanside and the Santa Ana's were wicked. 40-60 mph and thick traffic on 15. I'm guessing a lot stayed away because of the wind.

I would think we saw maybe 20 bikes riding on 15 on the way up. I'm not sure if I would go again, but I did win some money and had a hangover on Saturday, so it wasn't all a bad weekend.

Were you at the Fremont Buffet Thursday night? I was and saw several bikers. How did you like the place the Fremont put the bike parking? I didn't like it. The bikes were exposed to the weather (and other's eyes). There was a fence, but I still didn't like it.
I checked out Friday morning to be back at work that night.
