So... I have my ride torn apart and I found a puddle of red (I think its primary) oil on the floor under the lift.

I think I traced it down but not sure.

I have the bars off so the clutch and break cables are no in the proper locations.

I knew to make sure the break reservoir stays level or it leaks... but I did not pay any attention to the clutch cable.

Seems that it was hanging low and fluid was leaking out of the cable where the clutch adjustment nut is.

Is that normal if the clutch cable sags? Or have I borked something.

Caught the lil bastard in the act!, clearly where it's coming from.

Have the cable up now but it's still dripping....maybe the cable is soaked up top and its draining back down? Anything to worry about? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359337683.685529.jpg

While I have never tried it I have heard of people lubing the cable that way:)

I think you will be fine.
