Hi all, I currently have CD 1157 run/turn/brake and when I use the Turn signal I have been told that its difficult to notice the turn "flash" and I would prefer something like the 1156 CD amber/red turn and still have the Run/Brake/Turn setup on it, does anyone have this setup, or maybe i should add the turn signals on the "Fillers" or saddlebag Lids. Opinions greatly welcomed.

You could add CD Plasma rods, I have them and they stand out very well. The rods can be setup as to have run/brake/turn with CDs module. Give CD a call and they will answer all of your questions, they have great customer service.

What year is your bike?

Up to 2013 I believe the rear turn signals on a Road Glide are an 1156. I use that run/turn/brake on my 2012 RGU with custom dynamics 1156 red with red light covers. This set up works great on my bike, all rear light functions are nice and bright.

I added the CD Bagz to my 17 RGS. Love them. It lights up the back of the bike just right. My wife has complained about the lighting on my Fatboy and the RGS. She stopped complaining. Thinking seriously about adding the Ciro Bag Extensions to add some side lighting. I would need to get them painted though because black would look like shit with the denim paint and I am not going to put more chrome on the bike.

I think your right Butch!!...I thought that in rears, when you put blinker on it overrides the other two functions? I believe it was that way on my 2010 when I had it...

I have the dynamic rings in front and the outside ring goes off, and the turn indicator is the only thing lit...my buddy, on a 07 SGs rings do not go off..but he cheaped out and didnt get CD brand:serious:..lol

I use the CD amber/white in the front of my bike also. Really like them, the white ring as a running light is a great feature that works well with the daymaker headlights, front of the bike is nice and bright.

OK so now I get to go home and pull the rear lights and verify if they are 1157's or not...pretty sure they are. Its a 2013 fltrx.

Has anyone on here tried the custom dynamic rears with a red ring and red stop turn in the middle? I can’t decide between the 2 rear led options...

Stock rears (1156) are a single filament with the holding prongs the same on each side. 1157's one prongs is higher on one side and should have a double filament. If you still have your old rear bulbs check them.

I have the red Dynamic Rings in the back. They're plenty bright. There probably is no wrong choice.

I just got the CD turn signals and Billet Bullet passing lights for my 15 RGS. the fairing mt turn signals were eazy, the spots, not so much. they are T-6 billets and pretty heavy, I took the factory turn signals and replaced them with the CD spots, I had to get a steering head switch from my HD shop, but it took a few trips to find suitable hardware to mount the bullets.
All said and done, I love them.
If I turn the lights on for a pic they are too bright for the camera.
