I bought a LePera Maverick with drivers backrest LK957BRS a month ago. I was in a hurry putting it on the day I left for Sturgis and put a hole in the bottom with my saddlebag guard bolt. I put about 700 miles on it in sturgis and then sent it back to LePera and they recovered it and also took out the foam pad and put slightly softer foam pad in it for me and sent it back this week. I took a 45 mile ride on it and just decided it does not fit my ass right. It is basically a brand new seat. I have $675 bucks in this seat if you count the original price plus shipping to LePera and back. I would take $520 bucks for it plus what ever shipping is to your place. Remember it was totally rebuilt at the LePera factory in CA with a whole new foam pad and whole new cover not a repaired cover. I gave @ $590 dollars for it new I am going to put it on Ebay wed afternoon but thought I would give a member here a chance to save @ $40 on a new seat I have paypal. PM me if your interested

no it isnt the daddy long legs and No it didnt ruin it for me. When the lady at Lepera called me before replacing the cover she said they were glad to recover it for me and then said besides the trouble getting it installed the first time did you like the seat. I said no I didnt it is to hard for me and she offered to replace the foam pad with a softer pad if I paid the shipping back, so I took the chance. I think it is the flat shape of the seat that make me uncomfortable and not the firmness of the foam. It is a flatter style seat and Im almost 6'2 so it seems it drives my tailbone into the cushion. with my feet on the highway pegs it is ok but I cant leave my legs on the highway pegs all the time.
