I am looking for a kit to relocate the license plate on my RGU from under the tour pack to below the rear light.

Any suggestions?

I did mine with a street glide light bar and a kuryican curved license plate. The streetglide light bar has the license plate light attachment. I then put on a rk lens to get rid of the white light on the top.

Oops. I guess I should have mentioned that I am in Germany and we do not have the standard American license plate size.

The one I have is a bit higher and a bit shorter then the normal American CAR license plate.

I need a kit that does not have a frame I guess.

I wanted to mount mine underneath the light also, but then I changed my mind. There are two red light enforcement cameras near my house. I have had to get used to them and paid two tickets in my truck before I got better about not "fudging" the yellow light. I was riding my RG home and it had been raining and I ran that red light instead of trying to stop on the wet pavement. I ran it bigger than Dallas. I never got a ticket in the mail and I believe it is because from the elevated angle of the red light camera, by plate is obscured from view by my luggage rack. Not that I plan on running red lights, but that is kind of a bonus.

I think the suggestions made would still work. All you would need is the German, bigger backing plate, and maybe drill new holes to attach it to the relocation bracket.

I got my QD tour pak installed last month and ended up going with the pre-'09 light bar from PcPain. Expensive, but it's very clean and looks fantastic. I just got new plates (move from HD to WI) and USAREUR now uses the huge German plates!!! Shoot me a PM for more info, pictures, part numbers, install questions or whatever. I feel your pain!!
I should have hit you up, I was in K-town last weekend.

I still have the regular car size USAREUR plate so I am ok. Had to bend in the sides a bit. I think as long as I don't lose the plate I should not have to go with the big German plate. Didn't they care at vehicle registration that the big German plate does not fit? I heard Wiesbaden is easier on Harleys then anywhere else.

I understand what BradinTX is saying. The current location of the plate has saved me from one ticket already. They got a photo of it but one letter was missing. Ticket came in the mail and was missing the last number so I told them that this is not my bike and never heard back from them. That was over four years ago so I think I got out of that one.

It mounts under the taillight by hanging on the hole the taillight fits in. There are tabs on the bracket that you bend over the fender. This causes the tail light to no longer fit snugly against the fender. Result is an unsightly gap between fender and taillight.

When I contacted them about it, with photos , they ignored my.

I think I get what you're saying - you can see it if you crane your neck and stick your nose in there, I suppose, but its barely noticeable.

On my setup, part of what hides it is the Radiantz LED plate bracket, so no big deal for me.

I realize this is an OLD post, but it is the only one that seems to have done what I am trying to do: Install a Street Glide Light bar on my 2013 Goad Glide Ultra. The wiring is NOT "Plug and Play" and connectors are not compatable. Can you tell me what you did to make this work (splice wires?). Hate to start cutting and soldering, but might be the only way to get it to work.

I just finished relocating the tag & light on my 12RGU. Should be the same fo your 2013. These are the HD parts #'s I used.

BRACKET, REAR TURN SIGNAL BAR - 68629-05
LIGHT ASSEMBLY W/LENS - 69353-05
CURVED LICENSE PLATE FRAME - 67900056

As for the tag light wiring, I tapped into the Tri-Light wiring on the fender skirt.
