Well one of my HD "B" lifters finally went out, the bearings on the roller on the rear cylinder intake lifter was the problem.
Replaced all 4 of the lifters with Melling JB-2079 lifters from Autozone at a cost of $47 for all 4 lifters.
As mentioned before there is NO difference between the HD lifters and the Chevy lifters and the bike runs just fine with the new Melling lifters.

If there's no difference, I hope the new ones last as long or longer.

How many miles were on the stock ones?
