hi everyone! I am about to pull trigger on either a 2010 or wait for the 2011's to come out. I just found this site, and am impressed by the content and the pics of everyones' mods. Keep up the good work. Will be coming from a 2008 Ultra that met an early demise... But I had been considering a shark for my next bike, regardless of the purchase timeframe.
I look forward to being on this site.

thanks. Admin, do you love the color of yours? I know it is bright, but it is growing on me. I know that locally I can get 2,000 off MSRP for a 2010 (and probably a bit more). I might not be able to wait, esp with a deal like that. I imagine the only change for 2011 will be some colors.

Welcome, I am in the same boat 2010 or 2011 however if could get $2K off MSRP it would be a very easy decision. If you wouldn't mind telling the dealer name and location who is offering these discounts I would really appreciate it

Yes, originally I wanted black, but this was all anyone had. So I got it.
It's a great color to be seen on the road- can't be missed. Also, there are fewer red than black. My only criticism is that the striping HD painted on it does not show up like it does on the glossy black. This color looks great. With chrome and gold. Will post photos

I too came from an Ultra. The Road Glide (especially the 2010) comes with less than the Ultra. I have had people tell me that I could have saved a lot of money by purchasing an Ultra, instead of changing my 2009 to have the Ultra items. But it would not have been a Road Glide.

Just be ready to spend money to put what you want to make it yours.

Mine started out as just a Vivid Black. This way I could make it my idea of a Road Glide that was not like any other.

It's always great to add another rider to the brotherhood of bikers. Just have fun and don't ride outside of your comfort level.

Admin, have you ever tried using Zaino? I used claybar first and then Zaino and my bike/car looks like a mirror. The stuff is amazing!

Yep, it wasn't about getting the most stuff, it was about getting a Road Glide.

I think that's the difference between RG and batwing owners. The others look at which is the best deal or gives them the most; where as RG owners want a RG...period.

looking at purchasing from Sauk Prairie Harley in Prairie du Sac, WI. Very good group to work with. Good luck in the search, and like everyone says, we need some pics.

I'm in agreement with most,. your this close to the 2011's rolling out, might as well wait. You never know, the 2011 might come with the extended saddlebags or something that really speaks to you. On the plus side, if there is nothing new or different, every dealer will be willing to deal on a 2010 model.

I overheard the sales manager at my local dealer talking to one of the sales guys, about the 103 being the standard engine for 2011.

Lets the rumors flow
