Long Way Round was first trip, Long Way Down was the second from North Shore of Scotland (John o Groats?)to the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa.

Both are excellent documentaries with great footage and the people they meet along the way.

A buddy who owns the box set loaned it to me last year. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite the wealth of people (or lack of wealth) around the world and the political differences, this documentary goes to show you that people are people wherever you go.

Highly recommend this view.

Very good series. I have Long Way Round on DVD. I've yet to see Long Way Down, but I'd like to.
