I'm looking for a tour-pak lid accent pannel I see HD offers one in simulated leather and chrome but would like to get one that is all chrome or stainless. I've looked on e-bay and a few aftermarket sites with no luck.
Anyone know where I might find one?

Ok, So I found a guy that will do it.. But its pretty pricy.. I will keep looking. If you want there is a company that sells a "chromed strip sticker".. .Baisically its duct tape but very very chrome. I have never actually seen it in person. But From what I heard it works.

Im more of a fan of taking a small piece of metal and having it chromed. But that gets little pricey.. When I got back to the dealer expo this winter I will personally talk to some reps and see if they can make a prototype.

also, some tour pack racks come with a piece of metal that your looking for. Its baciall ywhere everything attaches to.

I did ALOT of searching. It has to be either a piece of chrome tape. Or the chrome piece off of a tour pakl. Some of them come with that chrome piece that goes on the top..

If you have a harley Parts book.. go to page 390 and look in the bottom left. Tell me if that piece works,

Here's another thought for you. I have a King Tou-Pak on my RK and I bought the HD one and didn't like the foam inlay so I made a real leather one that matches my custom leather seat and all. You could do the some thing with a thin piece of metal, an inlay of material of your own choice and that would make it unique. You could even take the chrome tape or some flashly material, adhere it to the foam and install that.

Making one will be last choice hoping to buy (all) metal one

Wood nikel... Acutually saw that from a guy that lives in Washinton. he took the measurements and made it. then had it power coated the color of his bike. he did the work himself, all but the power coat. I belive that he spent around 200.

Boogity.. Let me know. Sounds like you need to just make it.. Sorry man! But atleast you can make exactly what you want.
