I do not have a lot of knowledge in audio systems. Hoping someone can chime in and let me know if I am on the right track. Looking to do this with the least amount of cash!

Hoping to install speakers in my fairing lowers, it's a Road King right now. Looking at a 4-channel amp, so I can add two more speakers to the saddlebag lids. Here's what I think I need:

Amplifier
Cerwin Vega B2 or Soundstream PN4.100 or .320d (I heard the Soundstream amps cause a lot of interference when mounted near the radio, is Cerwin Vega better than Soundstream, or are they pretty close in performance and cost?)

Speakers
Infinity Kappa 62.11i Speakers, 6.5"

Grilles
What speaker grilles would I use? Should I be concerned with rain ruining the speaker?

Radio...
JL Audio, MBT-CRX: Weatherproof Bluetooth® Controller / Receiver
I'm thinking I would use this, so I could pair my phone, and it would control the volume, etc. I looked at the CycleSounds FM receiver, but I also wanted to get AM reception.

I can tell you that bang for buck, you'll like the speakers, just use the grills that come with them. The speakers aren't "water proof ", but they are very resistant, as long as you don't hose them directly they'll be ok. I had them and they went through a lot of rain with no problems at all. I personally haven't dealt with either amp, but have heard the same about the Soundstream, though most say it's not too bad. And I know nothing about the HU, but seems like you're on the right track.
