For owners of the Mako windshield how does your passenger like it?
I am 5'7" and i bought the 11 inch shield based on what other members that were the same height and what their website suggested for me as well.
I went for a ride today and the wind hits my glasses and causes them to move on my face.
So I will be sending it back and getting a taller one.
But as I was riding I was thinking what size would work best for me and my girlfriend.
If I go up to the 12" inch windshield that will probably take care of me but not my girlfriend.
I don't want to go super tall but I really don't think the 12" shield will work for my girlfriend. I think the wind will still hit her in the face.

So owners of mako shields I would like to know what your passengers think and what size you are using and your height.

I have the 14" mako and my wife thinks it works just fine for her, but it is too tall for me. I'm 6'5" but all my height is in my legs, I just ordered the 11" for myself. With the 14" I was looking right at the top of the windshield so I either had to try to look through it or lean up to look over.
I also have a 12 windsplitter and it sucks for me because it is too low, but again the wife says it doesn't bother her. She says I block most of the wind so she is happy with either.

*Insert typical "get a madstad and never worry about another shield again" post*

I looked at numerous shields, and figured I would get a 12in for solo riding and then a 14in plus for when my wife rode with me. End of the day, I went madstad and never looked back. Got it, it's ugly. But after a while it grows on you and I am 100% happy with it and the performance.

Mako was my second shield, was ok for me but wife complains move to a popular one here Madstad ugly but works well. At 5'10" ran Mako 11" like the look but preferred comfort. Go Madstad and forget about it. With the 13" lower it for solo and rises a little for two up.
