My favorite thing about this bike is how dependable it’s been. Its less than two years old and about to cross 70,000 miles with no issues. We’ve been to almost all the lower 48 states on this bike and our favorite road so far has been Beartooth Pass. We are taking a 10,000-mile/17-day trip to the Pacific Coast Highway in June which will cover the remaining lower 48 states we need on this bike. We are emotionally attached to this machine and it’s been a huge part of our lives even with working full time jobs. My goal is to have 100,000 on it by end of the year.

70k miles and most states covered in less than 2 years - and you work full time? Do you ever sleep? Great looking bike, and what I like about it the most is that you didn't do anything that took away from it's intended purpose - touring. Ride on!

I appreciate the kind words. My wife and I have a few variables in our favor. The company we work for is very generous with vacation time and we spend it all on long distance bike trips. We are off every Friday through Sunday, so that also opens the door to some frequent extended weekend rides. Aside from that, I ride every afternoon before work when it's nice (I work second shift). And I'll tell ya another big factor......heated gear. I live in central Indiana and with heated gear, there is absolutely no temperature threshold. As long as there's no ice or salt, I'm on the road. Before I was married, I rode even more than what I do now. Out of respect for my relationship, I've dialed back some but remain thankful that she loves to ride and is with me most of the time.
