I was thinking about organizing a ride to the factory in York, PA in the early summer 2016.

It is a great ride. We didn't break it into two days, it was an easy one day ride. Did the factory tour the next day!

We did the tour last year on our way back from NC. We will be planning a trip around that time, but we'll probably be headed West, not South. Safe travels.

This year OCC did a Sunday morning bikers breakfast. If they do it again next year you could include that in your itinerary.

I went through NYC on a Sunday 2 years ago in September. It was unrelenting gridlock as soon as I crossed the GWB. Nowhere to go. 90*, absolutely horrible. I'll never do that again.

I did this ride last June. Led twenty six bikes from the HOG chapter there for the tour. One thing I found out is that during the summer months, there is not a Steel Toed Tour on Friday, just Monday thru Thursday. No tours at all on Saturday or Sunday. Even taking the regular (free) tour makes this trip worthwhile.
